Size & dog weight chart
Measure your dog's back (neck to base of tail) and chest at the widest point. Go by the measurements first; weight and breeds are a guide only. If your dog is between sizes, choose the larger one.
| Size | Back length | Chest girth | Dog weight | Typical breeds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 25–30 cm | 39–47 cm | 2.3–4.5 kg | e.g. Chihuahua, Yorkie, Maltese |
| M | 30–41 cm | 52–70 cm | 4.5–8 kg | e.g. Shih Tzu, Jack Russell, Mini Schnauzer |
| L | 41–51 cm | 60–78 cm | 8–11 kg | e.g. Miniature Poodle, Beagle |
| XL | 51–61 cm | 66–86 cm | 11–14.5 kg | e.g. Corgi |
Good to know
Get your dog used to it at home first, keep trips short to start with, and always support your dog with a hand when bending down. Not suitable for dogs with back or hip problems without a vet's okay.
